Dedicated to being the premier orthopedic group in the region, Lakeside Orthopedic Institute was formed in the summer of 2005 through the merger of the established practices of Lakeside Orthopedic Surgery, Havasu Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, and Advanced Orthopedic and Spine.

The mission behind the merger was to provide the residents of Lake Havasu City and the surrounding communities with specialized medical care in the field of orthopedics. To that end, each medical professional is totally dedicated to delivering the best in comprehensive orthopedic education, diagnosis, and treatment.

The Physicians and Staff at Lakeside Orthopedic Institute are extremely privileged to announce that Ron Killian, D.PM. has joined their group in March.

Dr. Killian has been in practice in our beautiful city for the past 2 years. He previously resided in Corpus Christi,TX where he had a solo practice for 7 years. He served as the primary foot surgeon for a regional diabetic limb loss prevention program. During this period Dr. Killian helped to reduce the limb loss amputation rate by 47%.

He is Board Certified with both the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, Podiatric Surgery. He earned his degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and went on to do his residency at the Central Texas VA and Southern Arizona VA Health Care Systems.

He now makes his home here in Lake Havasu City with his wife Cathleen, 3 daughters, and is currently expecting a son in May. Dr. Killian enjoys speaking to groups in the community to educate people on footcare needs such as diabetic footcare, limb loss prevention, sports medicine, and the multitude of ways to keep your feet healthy so you can continue to participate in all of the activities we enjoy here in the Lake Havasu area.
